Enchanted harmony, celestial delight

This artwork extends an invitation to a meditative ritual, where the audience may explore the prospect of discovering their inner northern lights while, perhaps, evoking the supernatural spectacle in the evening sky of the southwestern peninsula of Iceland.

Rooted in the artist's childhood memories is a vibrant vision of the northern lights as fairy princesses, gracefully dancing across the sky. Their taps leaving traces of green energy, with splashes of purple and pink on very special occasions. Seyðisfjörður, and its breathtaking nature, extreme weather, and clear winter sky, have been a constant source of comfort, especially during tough times. This artwork is an open invitation to others to share in that comforting experience… to some extent.
